Caught in lies

Sometimes I think that some of the news that is out there today could be lies but I think 90% of it is true because its the news crew's job to give us good news so we know what is going on in the world and we can keep up with it and I think I wouldn't make very much since if the news crew's were telling us lies that would give them a bad reputation and they would not make very much money because nobody would want to buy their products. The first article I read I couldn't believe that there would be a kid that young that would be into drugs and he wanted to sell drugs when he became older so it shows what can happen when you don't grow up in a good place. Yeah I agree with his comment because liars are always making up stuff and telling it to the world because they think that we will believe it because there not good enough news people to go out and get good true news like the rest of the people. Yes I think that when a student graduates he or she should be abl

Hard news vs Soft news

Hard news http://www.cbc.ca  there is  a lot of people being affected by these and some people were killed and injured. Then numbers are rising,In the last five years, more than 150 people have been killed. Soft news "Justin Timberlake invited back to Super Bowl halftime show" http://www.cbc.ca This news article is Soft News because it falls under things people go to watch. Justin got invited back to do the halftime show at this years superbowl, this is not that important to some because not everyone knows who he is or likes him and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. "Why Trees Aren't Turning Red In Ontario And Quebec This Fall" http://www.huffingtonpost.ca This article is an example of both Hard and Soft News because it is important to some but not everyone it tells us about how bad the environment is getting with global warming, Its hard news to the people who care about the world It is also soft news because some people dont care

What is news

http://www.cbc.ca/news Timing 4/4 This story has been in the public now for a few days. It is the newest news story based on this event of how in the NHL goalies are getting hurt and that teams no longer have to wait for them to heal because there are many backup goalies. significance 3/4 I think this is a very good post because of how many people agreed with what the officials thought. Proximity 3/4 I gave this a 3/4 because this is going on in Ontario and I live in Blackville so it doesn't really affect me all the much. Prominence 2/4 I gave this a 2/4 because of how it affected the players and teams in the NHL. Human Interest 4/4 I gave this a 4/4 because there was a lot of people that were talking about this so the interest ws really high on this topic.  Final news mark - 16/20

Residents outraged by mess Residents of the village of Rumville are fed up with Mr Jacks mess in his yard and are getting ugly about the mess not getting cleaned up and want something done about it now. People have been trying to get this mess cleaned up now for a long time and are finally getting more people to take action and start getting the police to go to Jacks house and tell him he has a week to clean up the mess or he will get some dandy fines. We asked some people what they thought about the mess getting cleaned up and they were really happy and they said that its about time it got cleaned up because it made them look trashy and if it wasnt cleaned up by Halloween they were going to drag it out on the road and light it on fire because they were pretty ugly about it. We asked Homer Longshaft what he though about the mess getting cleaned up and his response was " its about jeezlus time somebody cleaned that friggin ol mess up" after that we asked Sammy longshaf
